Review of Roses of May by Dot Hutchison

After reading The Butterfly Garden and finding out that there was going to be a second book to what is now going to be a trilogy, I was so excited.  I was thinking we'd pick up where the first left off, see where the surviving butterflies are in life and so on.  Nope.  We start over with a whole new case.  While the story was good and I enjoyed the read, I couldn't help but have this nagging feeling of disappointment in what the book could have been or I guess better yet, what I wanted it to have been. There will be a third book obviously since it is a trilogy and I'm curious to see what this one is about. I still often think to myself about the butterflies and wonder how they are surviving outside of the garden.
