Review of Ania Ahlborn's The Devil Crept In

I first enjoyed Ania with The Shuddering and to be honest, going out in the snow has never been the same to me. Anyway, I read all of her books, pre-ordering each and every one making sure that I am ready to rip into that box and start the second it arrives on my doorstep. The Devil Crept In, in my honest opinion, is Ahlborn's best yet.

When Stevie's best friend, neighbor and cousin disappears, he makes it his personal mission to find out what happened to Jude. He knows that with every minute Jude is gone, makes it less likely he will return. But, when Jude does return, he's not the same and Stevie knows it. Stevie is determined to find out what happened to Jude and along the way he finds out what happened to little Max, another boy who went missing years ago, along with the town's pets and animals.
