This book, while it is just a short e-novella, takes you on a journey of that of a full length novel. I do not usually care much for your e-novellas/short stories, but this one changed my opinion. It's a great, quick horror read.

Review: The Pretty Ones by Ania Ahlborn
Ania Ahlborn has quickly become one of my fave writers in horror and this is her latest go at it. In this short novella we are taken back in time to a New York City summer drenched in fear with the Summer of Sam killer at his peak. While Neil Sullivan is worried about whether or not she will ever make any friends, everyone else is concerned about whether or not they will be the killer's next target. When Neil finally does manage a friend at her job, her friend turns up dead. Neil and her co-workers this has been the work of the serial killer, however, Neil knows differently.
