Bird Box by Josh Malerman

I had received an email with spooky book options and saw this one and thought "what the heck?"  This is such an intense adventure over a four year time period.  We meet Malorie and her two kids.  The book takes place today as well as four years ago.  Could you survive in a world where you could not open your eyes for fear of what you might see?  That's just what Malorie and her two kids did, survived in a world where you went mad if you saw a certain something.  It's a good read, I enjoyed it, it was a true nail-biter.
