Before We Met by Lucie Whitehouse

I picked this one out because it just kept showing up in my suggested reads.  The synopsis intrigued me so I gave it a shot.  We meet Hannah, a head strong independent young woman convinced she does not need a man in order to be happy and succeed, however, her family feels differently.  When through a chance meeting amongst friends, Hannah meets Mark, a fellow Brit living in New York City.  After meeting Mark, Hannah's feeling against marriage are changed.  Mark and Hannah get married, Hannah and Mark move back home to the UK and Hannah struggles to find work and success there like she did in New York.  <br><br>When Mark is supposed to come home from a trip to the U.S. and doesn't show up at the airport, Hannah is concerned.  Where is Mark?  It's not like him to miss a flight home.  When Mark's co-workers think he is somewhere besides the U.S., Hannah starts snooping.  Is Mark having an affair?  He's not that kind of man.  Hannah unearths information she had no idea she would find concerning her husband and his life prior to her.  What does she find?
