Just Evil by Vickie McKeehan - Not a bad read

Someone has killed Kit's mother and she is now the prime suspect.  On top of that, the love of her life, Jake Boston has returned to town to see her.  Next thing Kit knows, everyone associated with her estranged mother is dropping like flies.  Kit and Jake will do everything that can to prove Kit's innocence all while trying to stay alive herself.  This is the first book in a series and it really did hold my interest.  I felt like there was a lot of unanswered questions by the time the book ended.  Of course, that could be in part due to the fact that it is part of a series.  Anyway, not a bad read.
