I loved it. I have just recently become a fan of Stephen King (my mom has been a fan since he started). In Mr. Mercedes, we meet Bill Hodges, a retired detective, bored with his new every day of nothing to do. With his father's gun by his side, Hodges constantly thinks about ending it all. Hodges receives a letter from someone claiming to be the Mercedes killer but, is it really him? Hodges works against time with two other unlikely heroes to prevent another major catastrophe. In a race against time they do everything they can to save the day.
