This comes from the author of the Orphan Train and while it is somewhat of a thriller, it is also a captivating read. Cassie Simon's mom died when she was only three and is raised by her heartbroken father in New York. Cassie decides to change her life path when her grandfather she never knew leaves her a house and 60 acres in Sweetwater, TN. Cassie decides to leave her life behind and start fresh with family she has never known in Sweetwater. Moving to Sweetwater soon shows Cassie that there are dark secrets within this family and she is determined to find answers. This was a really good read however, I did feel a bit let down at the ending.
