While this isn't an action-packed, thrilling ride of a book, it does read quickly and is a very touching story. Molly and her husband have longed for a family of their own but Molly's past is going to catch up to her and it is going to catch up to her real soon. Molly had a very non-traditional upbringing, her mother she lived with was not in fact her birth mother and her birth mother lived just down the road. When Molly's father finally succumbs to an illness she doesn't believe the circumstances surrounding his death. Molly finally learns the truth as an adult as she finally gets the family of her own she has so longed for.
