Review: Grey

Grey Grey by E.L. James
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Ok so I have been a huge fan of anything 50 Shades of Grey and was so excited to get my hands on this book. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the book from start-to-finish. The only reason I gave the book 3 stars is it just kind of felt like I was re-reading 50 Shades of Grey, not reading an entirely different book in an entirely different perspective, that of Christian Grey's. Throughout Grey, we get to see just how Christian's mind works, what makes him who he is. We get a bit more background information in Grey as to Christian's childhood and just how horrible it was. We also get a bit more feeling for how Christian really feels for Ana. One could easily pick up Grey, not having read the other three books, and comprehend what is going on. You wouldn't need the three prior books for background to understand Grey. So, overall, I liked, felt, like I had already read it.
