Jeff Manning is suddenly struck and killed while walking home from work. Two women grieve their loss of this man, his wife Claire and his co-worker Tish. When Claire begins to suspect there might have been something going on between Jeff and Tish, she confront Tish but what does Tish have to say to Claire?

I did enjoy this book. While, for some reason, I did feel somewhat disappointed in the ending overall, the book did hold my interest.
