In honor of Maya Angelou, the U.S. Postal Service has given us a preview of the new forever stamp as well as announced the First-Day-of-Issue stamp dedication ceremony will be held on April 7th in Washington, D.C. You can order the stamp online for delivery shortly after the April 7th release date.
The stamp features this quotation: "A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song." The pane includes an excerpt from Letter to My Daughter: "Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud."
