Dana Tartt's The Goldfinch

Dana Tartt's hugely successful The Goldfinch is now being adapted for the big screen.  Screenwriter Peter Straughan (Tinker Tailor Solider Spy, The Men Who Stare at Goats) has signed on to develop the adaptation, recently reported by the Guardian, also noting that the adaptation is currently further along than the adaptation of Tartt's equally successful first novel, The Secret History.
