So for my second week of the Fall Reading Challenge, I was assigned Ghosting by Edith Pattou. As strange as this book was, I did enjoy it. I wanted to know what was going to happen to these kids and read the entire thing.
In Ghosting we meet Anil, Emma, Brendan, Maxie, Faith, Felix and Chloe, kids who all knew each other and would ultimately get short end of the stick in life late one night. When these kids decide to go ghosting after a party late one night, one kid's poor judgment, another kid's clumsiness and several kids' being in the wrong place at the wrong time all intertwine into one big event that will change their lives forever. Ghosting introduces us to these kids as well as tells their stories, how they ended up where they are now, in their senior year of high school.
It's a tale of how one bad night can happen and how recovery is possible.
