I struggled with this one. Cass decides after the death of her husband to build a new life for she and her son Ben. Cass moves herself and Ben back to her hometown and almost immediately strange things begin to happen. Ben makes friends new friends once he starts school and yet begins to start acting different. This book was extremely hard to get through. The last 100 pages were the best.
