James Franco the Author?

I know, I was shocked to see it myself. I never would have believed it without seeing it but, quirky James Franco (Pineapple Express and Oz) wrote a book. James Franco and his mother, author and actress Betty Franco, participated in Kepler's Books' (Menlo Park, California) new Kepler's Arts and Lectures series Monday night. Franco and his mother discussed Franco's new book, A California Childhood, a memoir in which Franco shares personal snapshots, sketches, paintings and poems. Franco grew up in nearby Palo Alto, Calfornia.
