Wendy Corsi Staub - All the Way Home

Lake Charlotte is the perfect, small town to raise a family. . . or is it? Years ago four teenage girls mysteriously disappear. Rory Connelly's older sister is one of those girls. Rory leaves town the minute she is old enough and does not look back until her younger brother needs her. Rory returns to Lake Charlotte ten years later to watch over her mother and baby sister so that her brother can vacation out-of-town. Everything is going. . . well, it's going, not as well as Rory had hoped when girls start to disappear again. This book was good. My attention was held from start-to-finish. It is a traditional "who dunnit" page-turner. The book clearly takes place in the 1990's (which isn't a big deal to me) but you wonder why there isn't cellphones and other things that are readily available now. Good read overall and I'd recommend it.
